The old toolset had "WAN killer" but it had limited features. It would be nice to have a packet generator with more customizable options. For example, an admin could specify ports, source/dest, plus things like alter the payload and frame size. We've currently been testing MTUs across the enterprise and would like to be able to test in the lab. But since we don't have a packet generator that allows granular modifications, we aren't able to mimic production traffic.
